YOUsers of Lumigrate might know that Lumigrate launched in 2009 with a link on our products tab to Vitamin Cottage, which is a Colorado-based company which started in the mid 1950s. I grew up very near that part of the Denver area, but my family was not into 'health foods' or supplements, ironically. read more »

Taking the printing presses and cash registers by storm most recently is Grain Brain by David Perlmutter. I'd first become aware of it on Facebook, but saw the cover displayed at the impulse aisle/waiting area where the lines form at the ever-popular Natural Grocers (formerly Vitamin Cottage). read more »

What do you think? I know I thoroughly enjoyed the food for the last four days and having the opportunity to spend time with family. I've just been reviewing what few entries we've had in the Forum area at Lumigrate.com over the holiday -- was glad to see people were occupied! read more »

Do you feel like everything on or in your body is falling apart? Maybe it is...
If you have celiac (also known as celiac sprue), then gluten is damaging the villi in your small intestine. The villi are the fingerlike projections that absorb the nutrients from your food. The less nutrients your body absorbs, the more problems your body will experience. Makes sense, doesn't it?
