The Present -- With Love

The present is always upon us, yet it's easy to be somewhere else.  

I let a lot of time pass since my last blog entry, and I was not certain how it would be received.  I wanted to let things "rest" and look at read numbers.  I was relieved when it was announced in the summer there would be hearings in the United States Congress on the UFO / UAP subject.  They came, made news, and went.

I wasn't meaning to have something really "controversial" hanging there out on a limb on Lumigrate for so long.  I prefer to have the blogs not get "dusty".  Rather, it seemed to me the overall "phenomenon" information was being frantically accelerated on History Channel, as well, with the addition of a Beyond Skinwalker Ranch series that, to me, had some of the most information-dense material I've seen.  Then I'd see the confluence of Congressional hearings (in July) and now a website unveiled by the Pentagon just as everyone was busily preparing to have a holiday weekend.  

I'd created this website in 2008, launching as spring 2009 came, with a main purpose of helping people with complex chronic fatigue and pain find solutions more efficiently for time, energy and money.  From there, it just felt like one thing lead to another, and I was mostly concerned that people know a bit about how the System works, in order to better navigate life, which affects health and well-being.  In 14 years it basically came to the previous blog!  

As I write this on Labor Day 2023, the "close of summer season" effectively in the United States, I do not regret having left the blog at Lumigrate to get "dusty" from February --- six months.  8,000+ views of my last blog occurred in that time.  It was a massive shift in what is in mainstream conversation, and I covered it in the Forums in the fall/winter of 2016.  Just one topic.    But the blog before that, inviting people to my ebay site ("MardyPop"), in same time frame basically, had EVEN MORE (13,000+).  Here's the link to the ebay "store": www.ebay.com/usr/mardypop

As "present time" heads into September,  I wonder what I'll be blogging about next.   There was a recent ruling in a case brought by some doctors against the FDA's focus on Ivermectin in the last epidemic (that effectively began in the US in 2020.) 

"Burning Man" became a mainstream news worthy event this weekend because of more rainfall than usual for this time of year.  There seems to be a lot of forecasting for the upcoming month, or so, of unpredictability, change, and so forth.  

My suggestion: Be in the present.  Be present.  And come back to see what I find in the future's present moments to put in the blog.  

Labor Day 2010 forever changed what Labor Day means to me.  I was 50 (and a half), and my last parent passed in the afternoon.  I'd happen to be working midday today with a client, assisting with marketing and strategizing for their future endeavors, and ironically, my experiences surrounding that weekend were applicable.    

I'd also need to rework an item at my ebay "store" (MardyPop), because gold prices have changed.  In general the jewelry resale market shifts in the summer because regular buyers are not focused on jewelry so much as summer activities, back to school, and the holiday weekend of Labor Day. 

Re-sellers take advantage (in a good way) and look for items to attempt to purchase.  Then the jewelry buyers as consumer users return.  And so, it goes.  The photograph, above, is one I use to demonstrate how items purchased look before shipping.  I thought it was a good representation for the blog topic.  Summer has a lid on it -- with a bow.
