It's great to be a part of Lumigrate.  Mardy and I went to High School together in a small mountain town in Colorado.  After 30 years, we connected again, through facebook, and have established a fun friendship.  We have common interests in food, nutrition, and health.

I tell people Mitch-in-the-Kitchen is a "food blog."  However, my blog isn't just about recipes (though there are some very good recipes on there).  It's about food and all matters related to food (though sometimes I have to stretch it a bit to make it fit into that category).  I hope you have fun reading my blog and I hope you continue supporting Lumigrate.

Thank you,

Mitch Romo

Re: Mitch-in-the-Kitchen

I am so very pleased to read Mitch's blog now that it's been up and accumulating what he shares.  He talked about his coffee bups in such an entertaining way, for instance!  And he walked us through how we might print out a cooking resource and organize it for our handy use, even mentioning MY favorite office supply company, Office Max.

To me, Mitch's Kitchen is a wonderful place to learn, because I've been on a learning adventure since1995 about  eating differently once I realized after having food allergies testing done (the IgG kind, as are covered in the Lumigrate video). The year before the Internet had Lumigrate, we had an office within an upstart integrative medicine center and I selected a handful of the seminars done there to record and put on Lumigrate for our launch. Lumigrate, due to Facebook's popularity 'coinciding' with our launch onto the Internet, brought other experts to us, whose work we have arranged in the Forums.  Such as Mitch -- talk about an expert on the role of the kitchen in some people's lives -- it's a passion, and it's a place which brings people together.

It's FUN to be inspired by Mitch, and others who write about food that are part of Lumigrate's Grate Group (see others in this food/recipes area).

PS - The Grate Group keeps it active on Facebook on our pages (there are currently three -- please join one or all! -- "Lumigrate", "Lumigrate:Fibromyalgia" and there's an 'extra credit' one about fibromyalgia health education and counseling for those who are wanting to dig in and change the body, mind, spirit aspects of their lives which can take them back toward chronic wellness again.
