Finding the reality about the history and statistics about how many people actually have Lyme / Borrelia, "The Great Imitator" is very difficult because, well, it's a great imitator, for one thing. And because there are different 'camps' of beliefs about it. Please know going in that it's not an easy subject to study, but in my opinion it is imperative that all people today, whether they recognize it as a threat to them or not, know about it. Because it has affected massive numbers of people, who are mostly unwittingly hosting and transmitting it. read more »

Lewy body disease just got a boost on the 'awareness' level yesterday, Father's Day 2014, with the passing of the legendary 'voice' from Casey Kasem. I learned of this NOT on Facebook, though I was on Facebook while listening to the radio. I'd tuned into a weekly radio show by a local music 'maven', and I've enjoyed the new station the show was picked up on because after noon they go to old reruns of America's Top 40 with Casey Kasem. read more »

Lewy Body Dementia is the generally said to be the second most common form of dementia in people in the US, with some experts will say 'second or third'. Of Cats and Dogs and Hikes on My First Father(less) Day -
Father's Day is today, the first one since my father passed nine and a half months ago. He died on Labor Day, the ultimate irony since he was the hardest worker. He worked at everything, even at having fun. Hikes or walks on the flatlands were monitored for how many miles per hour, ski runs were evaluated on the way back up on the lift, people were evaluated after parting from spending time together. read more »
