Mardy's Thoughts: I've found that detoxification and cleansing has become a very popular subject recently, with a confusing amount of information and products on the market confusing the consumers I've talked with sometimes. This seminar will provide a thorough background in the benefits of cleansing and detoxification and help you know if you are a candidate to cleanse. Insomnia, gastro-intestinal problems such as constipation and/or diarrhea, allergies, dermatologic (skin) problems can be greatly improved through removing toxins from the body in a safe and effective way.

Many people have tried a cleanse to detoxify in such a way they were not happy with the results but they really didn't know enough about the subject to know what they really needed to know before attempting a cleanse. This seminar explains why to cleanse and detox in order to alleviate multiple chemical sensitivity syndrome or other immune system problems. In a humorous approach using "the nine liver dwarves" (Itchy, Bitchy, Sluggy...), the effects of toxins on the kidney, liver, brain and skin are highlighted.

Celiac disease, which occurs with gluten intolerance, and other food sensitivities are also discussed in this seminar. Guidance for what to eat and drink (and not) to support the body is provided and explanation of the toxicity from sudden die-off of intestinal flora (yeast, such as lactobacillus acidophilus), causing some people to feel worse before they get better ('the hump') is discussed.

Suggestions of readily available foods, supplements and specific products to allow for a successful cleanse and better health are provided.
