For the Price of a Movie!... Circling the Wagons!

It's been really interesting to see what all has come our way recently.  Lumigrate has reached out and made hundreds of new friends (and we're looking forward to that continuing!), some of which are really leaders in the health care community.  The website is being recognized as valuable for progressive health seekers.  We appreciate the people who stopped by and looked around, downloaded or ordered DVDs or took the time to write in the forum areas.  We also are looking forward to continuing to foster collaborative relationships with top quality providers and products, and we'll be posting links and writing more about that in the very near future as things come to fruition.  Naturally, we are a work in progress and look forward to making things more items available in more formats for more people! 

It might be important to underscore our objective of being just that ... 'objective'!  The content on Lumigrate is not modified by any opinions other than those of the providers, who take our opinions into consideration but largely these are their seminars.  It's been interesting to talk with people all over the world and get their opinions about us!  It's good they are 'bewary', but it also was interesting considering in our local community we are all fairly well recognized.  Dr. Rollins was Colorado Family Physician of the Year in 2004 (which he is very humble about saying, by the way).  Dr. Young's practice is one of the primary providers of behavioral health services to the community and to employer groups: he frequently is called away to process incidents with surrounding gas drilling companies and law enforcement agencies.  Dr. Paula King was one of the providers for the Guided Imagery Association's webinar in 2007, with names like Gary Null.  Dr. Christopher Lepisto's following in our area is truly amazing -- and I even know the naturopath who mentored him years ago because he used to be in practice with the physician who diagnosed me with fibromyalgia when I was working here for a couple of months as a new OTR in 1997/8.  If anyone wants to look at the website for their integrative medicine center, (which we all call 'the IMC') the address is: www.imcwc.com. 

It is nothing short of thrilling to talk with other progressive informationalists in the US and abroad about what we are thinking and doing (Lumigrate and their providers from the IMC currently) and realize that Lumigrate is literally fostering the progression of information exchange.  We hope that in months and years to come we see a great networking of people with medical conditions ("You" on the model/cartoon on our home page) with only the best of information, because that is truly what has stood out as we ventured out to talk with people from around the world... people are looking for information and having to wade through SO much stuff that they truly don't know what is what.  We hope to simplify that.  Our 'Products' pages are set up to do just that -- route people rapidly to a very limited selection but one that really is our top pick if we were going to suggest something!  The 'Forum' area can serve as a 'think tank' for the best information to come and truly be a resource to people.  We hope you continue to use it as such, view our videos and start thinking about how the price of admission is literally the price of going to the movie and getting refreshments!  AND you can do it at home and eat something YOU chose!  So whether you have an interest in healthy eating, food allergies, thyroid conditions, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, supplements, we have seminars for you currently or in development.  Tonight we'll be attending Dr. Rollins' seminar on 'Bioidentical Hormone Replacement for Women' and start developing it for Lumigrate, hopefully with the cooperation of other organizations and providers who are objective, ethical and top quality.
