$56.50 for a Seat Belt Purse?  Yes, that's what they charge and sometimes she can get them in special colors such as PURPLE (the color of 'fibromyalgia').

A childhood friend of mine, Barbie Graham-Meier (whose husband was coincidentally my parent's eye doctor for 30 the last 30 years) owns a neat store in my home town of Aspen Park / Conifer Colorado.  We went to the same school as the creators of South Park on Comedy Central... LOL!  Though they are about five years younger than we are so that explains why hopefully we're not quite THAT crude but have a good sense of humor about things and like to make things FUN.  I  hope you'll see us developing together some neat products for people following Lumigrate to purchase.

I bought a multicolored, woven seat belt purse from her last fall that I get so many compliments on it's amazing ... and then this spring she told me there were some purple ones, not knowing that was a particularly interesting color for those with fibromyalgia.  So we figured we'd see what happened if we put a photo on here and opened it up for people to follow along over to her website and then contact her if they wanted to order one.  I know Alice bought one and has said they were a pleasure to order from and loves the purse!  All went well with the process or ordering and shpping once we figured out the best way to go about it, and currently there are a couple of purple purses left and many of other colors.
The store has a ton of neat stuff and their website is at the following link ... alohamarketplace.vpweb.com/
I SUGGEST YOU CALL THEM IF YOU WANT ONE -- The phone # in Aspen Park, Colorado USA is 303/838-8000.

We had over 400 reads on this after only a few months and since Barbie and her manager, Karen, so enjoyed our customer and what we're doing at Lumigrate, they're up for doing MORE of this kind of thing and we're brainstorming and trying a few things and hope to see this grow and go!  We 'might' even be creative and develop some custom things .... so STAY TUNED!

Put me on the list for one of these.  I can only imagine it will last forever and the symbolism is good too.

How to Get Purses from Aloha Marketplace

Alice, I'm glad you added something here at the website -- I'd messaged you and the owner on facebook and it appears neither of you got the message, which is fine.  So I called the store to be sure .... if you call the store (follow the link to Aloha Marketplace and you can see the staff ... Barbie, her mom Irma, her manager Karen I believe is the one with the dark shoulder length ahir and I've not yet met the other gal in the photo), you can then find their phone # to call (it's 303/838-8000 -- since I just called it I know that!).  They are aware that you and Candace will be contacting them.  It sounds like they'll be able to get those out to you by tomorrow if you call today (and today is June 2 my daytimer is telling me).

ENJOY your new purse.  I told Karen a bit about Lumigrate and the Grate Group and all that so she would be a bit filled in about what this is all about.  And I look forward to seeing if this is something they feel is worth going into more.  At the VERY LEAST, they'll have helped two VERY special gals from the Grate Group get pretty purple purses....  ~~ Mardy
