Link to the Initial Submissions about Supplements and Fibromyalgia
Here's the link to the original Forum on Fibromyalgia here, which had many good contributions from people about supplements and fibromyalgia which you'll want to read most likely ... Since it was a popular thing, there is not this NEW additional forum just about supplements and medications and fibromyalgia......

Live and Learn. Learn and Live Better! is my motto. I'm Mardy Ross, and I founded Lumigrate in 2008 after a career as an occupational therapist with a background in health education and environmental research program administration. Today I function as the desk clerk for short questions people have, as well as 'concierge' services offered for those who want a thorough exploration of their health history and direction to resources likely to progress their health according to their goals. Contact Us comes to me, so please do if you have questions or comments. Lumigrate is "Lighting the Path to Health and Well-Being" for increasing numbers of people. Follow us on social networking sites such as: Twitter: http://twitter.com/lumigrate and Facebook. (There is my personal page and several Lumigrate pages. For those interested in "groovy" local education and networking for those uniquely talented LumiGRATE experts located in my own back yard, "LumiGRATE Groove of the Grand Valley" is a Facebook page to join. (Many who have joined are beyond our area but like to see the Groovy information! We not only have FUN, we are learning about other providers we can be referring patients to and 'wearing a groove' to each other's doors -- or websites/home offices!) By covering some of the things we do, including case examples, it reinforces the concepts at Lumigrate.com as well as making YOU feel that you're part of a community. Which you ARE at Lumigrate!
This forum is provided to allow members of Lumigrate to share information and ideas. Any recommendations made by forum members regarding medical treatments, medications, or procedures are not endorsed by Lumigrate or practitioners who serve as Lumigrate's medical experts.
This is a dead end link. Any where else I should look?
I am a recent physician assistant graduate who has stepped into the daunting field of interventional pain management. I am eager to contribute what I learn along the way and, more importantly, learn from the experts who deal with pain every day, with the goal of providing compassionate and evidence-based care.
Thanks for alerting this to me, Don. Whenever anyone posts something new, all users get an icon in the left margin the next time they come back to Lumigrate, so they can see what is NEW; that's how I know someone has put something new on Lumigrate and thankfully it's not been spammers for a while! If it is, I have to take that off and if it's a valid post, then I review it and do any editing and modifications I think might help it and then let people know on Facebook and Twitter who are following that there's something NEW.
When I change even one letter in a title that would be something that is telling the link where to send things on the website, it makes things go dead, and in a perfect world there would be someone able to backtrack on all those and make sure we're not having any dead ends. But it's just me these last two years so "I'm like a one armed paper hanger". As YOU know, many don't, I'm having to REALLY stretch my capabilities to do what I do on Lumigrate, so I appreciate people's patience when things aren't ideal. AND for letting me know, as often I'm unaware of things, like this.
I'd say these are some links to be sure you check out. This first one is where the forums at Lumigrate 'started', it was the only one that anybody was posting in initially, aside from me, I was trying to get things going on a number of forums, about hypothyroid or MS, etc. and what people flocked to was "fibromyalgia". That was in the spring of 2009, right as we got 'known' by the Facebook fibromyalgia community due to all the activity I worked hard to be part of on the first International Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, which happened to happen in 2009 as well. And that was when Facebook was 'exploding' with new users but everyone with FM hadn't yet realized they could start their own 'things' -- Facebook pages, group, blogs, etc. So once that occurred, it pulled people's energies and key strokes over to many other things and then I figured I'd spend my time concentrating on getting other PROVIDERS to participate. That's when we got the influx of the providers you see to this day, and that continues. I stay in contact with many of the women who wrote in this forum and they still use Lumigrate as a resource, they just have more interest in learning and using their energies on their health, which is GRATE! As long as people have something to learn from that's valid and brings information to them in a way that's streamlined, that's all I care about! I want people to get or stay reasonably WELL! ~~ Mardy
