This ring, as it was vintage and in very good condition, signed (as you see, above) is what inspired me to provide a learning unit about the history of Black Hills Gold.  It's proving to be fairly difficult for me to photograph in order to capture the colors as you see them with the naked eye, so I've provided a lot of pictures here.

You'll notice the size is 4-1/2 (above), and how far that gets on my left ring finger (below). Weight: 2.0g.

I'll describe the signature stamp.  WM and the W has a c in the center of the W, and similarly an o is in the center of the M.  When I got to looking up the maker's mark, "W.M. for Wheeler" or "Wheeler WM Stamped" were included in descriptors for identical and similar, respectively, rings I found to compare with.  The "STER" and the co within the WM make me wonder if this ring was not created by WM when he was working for himself and before providing jewelry to Wheeler.  That's just my thought, shared if it helps spark your curiosity.

The identical ring was not in nearly as good shape as this beauty is, but was a bit larger and thus a bit more value in the weight of the sterling silver.  Considering that trade off, I priced this one same as that, at $50, and I include shipping*.   The other one that wasn't identical was double that price, but was also twice as big around!  So I'm confident this is a fair price for this vintage, collectible, signed WM Black Hills Gold smooth design leaf / leaves ring.
