Hello my dawlinks! It's your Yenta! I have to tell you, I was kibbitzing with my girlfriend Esther, which isn't easy to do since all she does is talk about herself and her latest woes, and let's face it dawlinks, without sounding too mushiginah it's gets a little old after a while. So finally, I had to say to her, "Esther, dawlink, hold your horses a minute and take a breath, your turning purple for G-d sakes!"

You know, I just realized that some of you may not know a few of the words I'm using. Oy! Let's revue a little, shall we? Kibbitzing or Kibbitz means to chat. Now, you know how people just love to talk anyway, but get those of us from the old neighborhood and oy, you can't get a word in no matter what you try. Oh yeah, Mushiginah, which by the way, was very hard to spell out for me, means crazy.

And just so you're aware, these are words we use in Yiddish, which I'm told is a dead language but how could it be dead if I'm using it! I'll tell ya, it doesn't make sense to me. And I am a Yiddisha Cup which means a Jewish Head. Yes, I know, my dears, it doesn't sounds right to you so go ahead and question your Yenta, it's perfectly allowed here.

Oh, so let's go back to Esther. Complaint, complaint, complaint, oy! The complaints, a person could faint from such complaints. So finally, when she took her breath I jumped in and said -- you're going to love this dawlinks:
"Esther, instead of complaining so much, do something about it. Instead of being so negative, which is why Marvin doesn't want to be around you, try doing something more positive. Go down to Home Depot, get a couple of little pots, plant a few seeds, nurture them, watch them grow. Go to a craft store and pick up something easy to do that doesn't take too much effort that will give you some pleasure.  Or how about getting out of the house once in a while, you look like drekk (that means garbage) get light on your skin that isn't man made, some wind in your hair, what's left of it anyway, and maybe take a roll in your wheelchair down 5th Avenue."

It couldn't hurt!
