Introduction to Gwen Pettit

Mardy's Note: Gwen and I have a common colleague/friend, Ilene Spector, DO who also lives in Crested Butte/Gunnison, in the mountains southeast of Grand Junction. Ilene, who met Mardy in the fall of 2009 and started working on Mardy with her unique "Cranial Academy" osteopathy techniques, had suggested Gwen get involved with Lumigrate.  Since Gwen is all set up to life coach via technologies such as the Internet/computers/phones, etc., it was a perfect suggestion! 

After that, Gwen ended up filling staffing shortages in Grand Junction and she participated in the LumiGrate Groove of the Grand Valley extensively in 2011 -- The Grate Groove is a group of conventional-turned progressive providers (generally speaking) working to get to know each other and then connect with the area's general providers and consumers for furthering collaborations and fostering wellness.

It's been a pleasure to have her here, and so it was very interesting in the fall of 2011, to hear she's going to winter with her family/parents 'back home' in New Jersey (she did that again in 2012/13 winter).   Interesting -- because Lumigrate was moving in the direction of more information to help people related to aging parents and all that comes with 'the home stretch' of life.  So here we still are! Just 'virtually together' via Lumigrate.com and the Internet (and our Facebooks too)!   ~~Mardy
