medical system problems

Here's a link I received from a medical doctor in the US who is concerned about patients getting the treatments they need.  In the piece, which is at KevinMD, it cites a previous Red Herring series at their cite; I recommend taking a look at that as well.  At this link, a woman psychiatrist uses a case she was involved with related to a patient with a physiological issue related to swallowing who was hospitalized for the procedure, and what can happen in the hospital.  read more »
