I learned of The Merck Manual when I was at Colorado State University; I don't recall if I saw it as a recommended text book when looking around the bookstore when I was taking one class at a time while working for the University, or when I was finally 'in' the occupational therapy program, but I will tell you that my hard covered copy of it was my greatest resource once I was an occupational therapist.  read more »
