Lewy Body Dementia is the generally said to be the second most common form of dementia in people in the US, with some experts will say 'second or third'. My 'work' in strategy sessions with clients as a "functional advisor and consultant" utilizes my unique background which includes 10-15 years working as an occupational therapist, certification and experience as a "peer health educator" at Colorado State University's Student Health Center, and more than the average person's experience dealing with personal and family medical issues lead me to develop some 'tools of my trade'. read more »

I believe that age is a gift. But along with the gift of a long life, comes changes that can affect our ability to drive safely. There may be changes in vision, hearing, cognition, physical abilities and general health. We all age at different rates, so unless there is a sudden onset of a medical condition, you don't have to worry that everything will go at once! What you do need to do, is to become aware of the changes as they occur, and how they may affect your ability to continue driving safely. read more »
