"Go With The Flow" Has Never Seemed More Relevant

This is my first blog post in 2021, and it took me until the 10th of the month to do so.  I reflected on my enthusiasm almost a decade ago as the New Year came around.  Daily, I'd add onto the blog here at Lumigrate, posting another piece in underlying comments which gave the highlights of another section of a book I thought was particularly helpful for people who Lumigrate reached.  It was a sharp contrast to the directionless sense of things I had this year.

Having had Covid-19 mid-December, emerging from the grasp of what was every bit as difficult as I'd heard or read about the past nine months, I was simultaneously with the "I'm alive -- I survived!" afterglow.  I'll maybe have permanent after-effects and impairments, it is a real setback for me at 60 (and 3/4!), only three years ago having found The "root cause" of my health issues, studied, incorporated and changed things, and reaped the rewards of having seen significant improvements beyond the level I'd achieved in the first decade of 2000, which lead to my creating Lumigrate to help bring solutions to seekers so they got better for less money, with less effort / energy and time expended.

Just as I was "out of the woods", Crystal Tripp of Dis~Ease Solutions asked me to return to be an administator of her Facebook group, which entails posting things in the group periodically that would be of benefit to the members.  That's usually no problem for me, I had ample things in my Facebook feed always to bring to a group of health-solutions seekers.  But at this point in time the "big news of the day / week / month / era we are in" is all I was seeing.

I'd realize, finally, that my hesitancy to be heading in a direction about any particular facet of health information was due to my overall sense that we are entering a substantially new era.  I've of course spent my time online with videos and readable content to get ideas from those I know of who focus on this type of information, or focus on niches that are affected by the censorship on the Internet, reaching epic proportions now that we are in 2021.

Some have admittedly been as stymied as I, or they are so weighed down by what they believe is occurring, and how it will affect us all, and those professionally making their income by 'providing the truth' to an audience interested in their niches.  For as many years as the United States has been a country, we've been in the modern / industrial / scientific age -- and that has lead to the creation of the emerging age we are now entering.

I'd be aware that I kept coming back to thinking about "Go with the flow."  That was advise I'd gotten a decade ago from someone I was socializing with at the time they were endeavoring to get into card reading, and they'd be at home with their deck, and text me.  It resonated, and I took it to heart.  It's what allowed me to navigate what my life was to entail since, and I'm getting the sense now that the past years were there for me to get comfortable 'in the boat' -- the rapids are ahead.  Maybe even in view as we are in this post-election, pre-innauguration time period.

With that as a major "theme" to consider from this blog I provide and offer to YOUsers of Lumigrate, I'd also find a "pinging" that picqued my interest in an emailed e-newsletter from a veterinarian I subscribed to a while ago.  I'd not previously thought about dogs' sniffing as they do being good for their lungs, cardio-pulmonary systems, and overall health.  Similar to the type of breathing a person might learn to do for the vegus nerve, SIBO, and mind/body wellness, dogs naturally know to do what's good for them.

I had just gotten a new old dog the day before what turned out to be my start of Covid-19 in the last month of 2020. I'll write about that in more detail another time.  I'll never know, but I suspect the frequent trips I'd have to make outside for him to go to the bathroom, in the cold air, changed my reality for the better.  Now that I'm on the mends, I KNOW that he's changing my life for the better, so I look forward to sharing more about him, and a photo I have yet to take of us together, soon.

Our walks in the winter weather have been brief but frequent, only in part due to the cold.  We gradually added medications and supplements, in order to see what effects and side effects resulted.  Start low and go slow, being one of my mantras. He was an unruly dog in the past, leading to being rehomed in his young adulthood, and he is clearly eager to please and learns quickly, but he is an "old dog" and it's a lot being expected of him.

My breathing isn't quite right yet, so with the help of the information from the veterinarian's e-newsletter I referred to, above, I took to intentionally breathing (such as for vegus nerve) whenever he was stopped, sniffing what he could glean from the grass, lightposts, fire hydrants, and such.  Here's the link to the blog at the source I'm referring to: www.holisticactions.com/blog/

This got me thinking, once again, about the interconnection of pets and their guardians, and "systems theory" applying to the overall health of the home.  You can best change a system by making small changes, waiting, making more small changes.  If you make sweeping changes, too rapidly, there can be too much disruption.

The visual analogy that I liked best was that of a mobile, such as would be above a baby's crib.  If you add or remove one item, gently, and let it stabilize, then do another, over and over, you can dramatically change the mobile without problems occurring.  Another analogy was that of straightening a coiled spring -- slowly and gradually stretching it out, you'll end up with a straight piece of wire again, whereas as a fast, forceful pull can cause it to break.

It appears to me that up to this point, those that are wanting to shift us up to the 'fourth gear' have made subtle changes and that's why it's felt like going down the river in the gentle waters before the rapids, and now we're going to have a different approach -- the rapids.

So I hope that has given you something to think about, if you were looking for that.

Five years ago when I initially encountered Crystal Tripp in a group when she was looking for life-saving information for herself and her son, we connected privately, at my initiation.  She had an interesting background and at the time we were both in a group focusing on what's in water as a key culprit, but secondarily that our pets, particularly when living in the home, can bring illness and also be the recipient from what the humans have.

Crystal would later discuss with me, when we reconnected a couple of years later just as she was with a group and products to offer, that she had pieced it together and suspected her family's illness perhaps stemmed from a dog her then young-adult son, Lynn, had taken in.  He had moved out and was living elsewhere, took in the dog and then became ill.  This lead to his moving back in with his mom, her husband and preschool aged child, who didn't get as ill as Lynn and Crystal; they were life-threatened status.

They initially turned to conventional medicine providers and products, which insurance would pay for but then saw that they were not getting helpful results from their efforts down that route.  She had a life-long appreciation for plants and natural medicines and after she got started heading in that direction, Lynn taught her, as so many youngsters do with their parents, how to use the Internet and groups to further education and get ideas to try, and they eventually came up with solutions for their dis~ease.

He would encourage her to create a business to offer the products that helped to others, and then tragically be killed in a bicycle / motor vehicle collision.  This catapulted Crystal to make a success of what they had started, and support for her endeavor, from immediate family through Facebook followers was abundant.  I'm proud to say her Facebook group has grown to have between 5 and 10 thousand members at the time of this writing, and is a "go to" resource people suggest to others who are underway seeking solutions for dis-ease.

If you interested in joining the Facebook group for Dis~Ease Solutions, learning more about Crystal and her Dis~Ease Solutions products, I cover it thoroughly at the Products tab here at Lumigrate. and have a link to the Facebook group there as well. Here's the link to the Lumigrate Products tab:

If you're interested in details of what I've skimmed the surface of related to the new era we are going into, and what is changing, AND what I'm going to do to adjust things for myself and Lumigrate, in order to hopefully go with the flow as we get into the more intense times ahead, please look for my next blog.

As always, I leave you with "Grate~Fully, Mardy",

P.S. Attitude is everything - consider going with the flow.
